snowtape

I've been using snowtape for mac lately to listen to internet radio streaming. What's more: it actually allows you to record the stream from many stations and lets you save those titles as MP3s, title art and all. No, that does not make me a pirate. It's totally legal. AND: it's actually caused me to buy stuff I've listened to on the radio via iTunes. It's all about discovery. Love it.

Not sure where some of the album art on the screenshot went, though. It's still here, for me! Enjoy.

Thomas Knüwer's premise is that social media have the potential to change the way we interact with each other. Television (specifically: advertising) yells at us and fosters a culture of yelling at each other. Social media encourage listening to each other more. I hope that will hold true!

Catnip

There's catnip in between the roses in the castle garden. Especially Charly is very happy about that. He loves to just lie down in it and gets all excited as he claws and licks at this "cat drug". It doesn't seem to have any major side-effects other than that he gets a little possessive of the plant while he is "in" it.

The Internet of Things
